page goes back to cursor and not stay where scrolled?

When scrolling to a different point on a page in Word, and it seems to happen
when it Fast Saves it will go back to the point where the cursor is and not
stay where I want to be on the page?

Can this be fixed?

The default behavior (I think) is for the insertion point not to move when
you scroll. If you want it to move, check the box for "Use smart cursoring"
in Tools | Options | Edit.
 
Thank you, for the response. I guess i neglected to list the things that I
already tried and your suggestion was one of them. I do agree that it is
"default behavior". But, somehow it is not working.

i do appreciate your input.
