I'm having the same problem as 'Rick' (message on
23/02/2004). I can access websites fine with Windows
Explorer but IE6 keep showing "Page Cannot Be Displayed"
everytime I try to access a site.

However, I haven't really installed any Spybot program. Is
this really necessary? Any other way to remedy the
problem? Is this a common problem in IE6 for PCs running
XP? Thanks a lot!

I'm having the same problem, Patrick. I've tried
everything from changing security settings to updating
Microsoft software to no avail. Did you get a response to
your problem? Like you, I have not installed any Spybot
program.

No response yet. But the most accurate answer that I've
found is to install the latest version of Spybot. Do we
really need to do that? And what is the purpose of
installing Spybot? Appreciate the help
