Pactical mimimun HD required

I plan to install Vista Beta 2 on a test machine in my shop. I will disconnect the present hard
drive and connect an old hard drive for this purpose. The old hard drive is a 13.6 GB drive. I know
what the MS minimum requirements are, but from an experienced user point of view, will this be
enough HD to evaluate the system? I will not be loading a lot of programs, or storing a lot of
data. I just want to get a look at, and feel of, the Vista system.

I most likely will load and older version of Word & Excel and surf the Internet.
I do a lot of Free tech support for the members (mostly over 55 yrs old) of our computer club and
just want a heads up on Visa.

Although I did have to switch off Hibernation and move my Swap File to
another drive :/

I believe that would be enough, I think 12 gigs is the minimum, so for those
programs 13.6 gigs should be just enough, Richard.

Hope this helps.

How did you turn off Hibernation? I cannot discover how to do that
using Help. A Help-file entry says that hibernation is "still
available as an advanced power-management option," but I see no
advanced options in the Power Options Control Panel.
