OWA / Webmail "popup" notification (2007)

I use OWA to access my work email from home. We used to use OWA 2003 and
when I was logged in to OWA, a popup window would appear above my clock when
a new email arrived, regardless of whether I was on that page in my browser.

My employer recently "upgraded" (ha) to OWA 2007. The first thing I noticed
is that I no longer get that little popup window by the clock anymore when an
email arrives. How utterly annoying. The option is selected in OWA to show
it but it doesn't. I do get the sound when it arrives, but my speakers are
not always turned up.

I've read elsewhere on the net about people complaining about this but
nobody has an answer.

I am running XP with all updates. Browser is IE6 and/or Avant (IE6 wrapper
basically).

Any ideas?

Ask in microsoft.public.exchange.clients because OWA is part of Exchange and
is not Outlook.
