OWA HTTPS PROBLEM FOR LOCAL LAN ACCESS

Have a strange problem.
My company have a part time employed - she works part time in my company and
part time in another company. She uses OWA to access her mail (Exchange 2003
in the other company).

The OWA use SSL (HTTPS).
But when she accesses this OWA she can no longer access local resorces in
our LAN. She still have access to the local computer, but can not access her
home folder (on the local file server) after she open this OWA page.

She has to log off and on again - to get access to local network resources.

Local computer: Windows XP Professional
Local network: Windows Server 2003 domain
Local firewall: ISA 2004 Standard Edition

I can not figure out the reason for this problem. Is this a local problem in
my companys network, or has it somthing to do with the SSL certificate used
on the other companys OWA?

Working with OWA over SSL is a web browser shouldn't do this. Are you sure
she isn't establishing a VPN session or working with Remote Desktop/Terminal
Services against that foreign network?

She is not using a VPN connection.
Could the problem be related to a domain name issue?
The other company and my comany share internet domain name (the other
company own the internet root domain), and my internal Server 2003 domain
name is built up - based on the same structure:

My company internet domain name: company.shared.no
The other company domain name: shared.no
My server 2003 domain name: internal.shared.no

I would assume no if they are all part of the same forest. (What I am
interpreting is a triangle where internal and company are sub domains of
shared.no.)

I will be more precise:

My company and the other company share the same internet domain name:

My comany: company.shared.no
The other: shared.no

My local server 2003 domain (and forest) is not, in any way, connected to
the other companys server 2003 domain (or forest). But we use the "same root
name" as we are using in the internet domain name:

My company server 2003 domain and forest name: local."shared".no

And the other company is also using their internet domain name as local
server 2003 domain name - but we are not in the same forest, and there are no
direct trusts between this forests.

At this point, I really don't know why the web browser would cause what you
are seeing. Considering OWA and Internet Explorer are not Microsoft Outlook
products, you could try posting in an Exchange group or Internet Explorer
group to see if anyone has heard of such a thing.
