Hello,

I used the Outtlook office 2007 beta witch was available until the 31th of
january 2007.
I wanted to recover all may mails and contacts.
I maid a copy of the outlook.pst.
When i want to open it in another outlook 2000 2003 or 2007 it doesn't work.
It says it is not a .pst !!

What should I do ?
Thanks in advance.

You should provide some information.
How did you create, copy and transport this file? If you created it in
Outlook 2007, it would not be compatible with versions earlier than Outlook
2003, but it would be perfectly compatible with Outlook 2003. You've left
out to much information for anyone to help.

Thank you very much for answering.

Création of the Outlook.pst :
Last summer I took of my outlook 2003, keeping the outlook.pst, to install
the outlook 2007 beta version.
If my outlook 2007 used the outlook.pst without any problem.

Copy and transfer :
I copied my outlook.pst on a CD, then transfered it on the hard drive of
another Pc to see if I could open it with Outlook.
I try to open it with outlook 2003 then with Outlook 2007.
The message is "it's is not an outlook.pst"
I hope i give enough detail now, I can try to give more if necessary.
I will probably read your possible answer tomorrow morning cause it's late
at night here.

When you place a file on a CD it becomes read only. Move it back to a hard
drive and remove its read only attribute.
