Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to export a liste of catégories in
Outlook 2007. I used to be able to do it in Outlook 2003, by applying the
catégories to one contact and thant transfer that contact to another person.
I could finaly copy the list. But how do I manage that in Outlook 2007.

Thanks in advance for your precious help!

Thank you for you help. I was wondering if there was a way to copy the
categories in one operation in Outlook 2007 instead of adding each catégory
by clicking on "New". In Outlook 2003, I was able to highlight all the new
categories, copy them and paste them in the "main category list". Thank you
again for you help--

In OL07 that's not possible anymore. You could use Category Manager for
that, for details ses the link in my signature, please.

I managed to get colours showing in shared OL2007 calendars by avoiding
Categories and instead selected View | Current View | Customize View. Then
selected Automatic Formatting option and changed the rules so if the Calendar
content contained X then colour would be Red for example.

Then View | Current View | Define View, copy <current view settings> and
make sure option is set to "Can be used on : This Folder available to
everyone"

Then APPLY this view to the Calendar or Inbox you are using. Then when
sharing the Calendar the user can select View and see your Custom view which
will show all the correct colours!

Hope this helps.
