Outlooks blocks messages with URL's

Something has changed with my settings that will not allow me to send a link
to a webpage thru IE by clicking on the "mail / send a link" button. I get
the following message: Outlook blocked access to the following potentially
unsafe attachments: www.xxx.url. I have gone thru everything I can think of
with no results.

Was anybody able to help Mitchell with this problem??? I have the same problem with my new PC. It's a pain to have to copy an URL, open up Outlook, and then paste, vs. just using the 'send a link' button
