My email accounts in Outlook are all set correctly and when I check the
seetings, it sends an email to me, but it comes in through Outlook Express.
When I hit "send/recieve" in Outlook, it just displays a message window
saying "The operation failed".
Any suggestions as to what is the problem, as I am having to use Outlook
Express instead at the moment, but want to use Outlook. It is Outlook 2002.
 
Hi,
Set outlook as default E-mail program.
In Internet explorer click Tools
Internet options
Programs tap
For E-mail select Outlook
Click Apply and OK.

Thanks for your advice.
I have modified the settings and even re-booted, but the same message comes
up, i.e. The operation failed.
Once again, the test works fine, with emails coming through to Outlook
Express not Outlook.
