now i know this question has been asked before somewhere. i am trying to
configure my outlook 2003 to send and receive my yahoo e-mails. i have been
using this facility for 2 years so i know that here in the uk it can be done
and does work. now this is the steps so far; i have followed the instructions
provided by yahoo to the letter, i am a member of yahoo!deliver, i have done
the authenticate thing but still i can only receive my e-mails but can't send
them.
i have just upgraded my office software from student/teacher to office small
business user. i am running this on a dell dimension 5000 pc with xp sp2. i
think i have given all the imformation available, now the important bit HELP.
i am probably doing something mundanely stupid.
kind regards

You haven't described the exact symptoms you get when you try to send. You
also haven't described your exact settings (less the credentials, of
course).

You're welcome and glad you sorted it!

FYI...there is a nice, small freeware program that allows an e-mail client
to interface Yahoo directly called YPOPs
YPOPs! is an application that provides POP3 access to Yahoo! Mail. It is
available on the Windows, Linux, Solaris and Mac platforms.
