Restore e-mail to Yahoo

Hello:

I am running Windows Vista and have Outlook 2007. In a nutshell, I would
like to see if there is a way to transfer all my messages from Outlook back
to my Yahoo account.

After setting up Outlook to read my Yahoo account messages, I realized this
was a mistake because I liked the capability of being able to access my Yahoo
account from any computer. I stopped the transfer by simply closing Outlook.
Well, I accidentally opened Outlook the other day and walked away to answer
the phone. I came back to find all my messages were transferred into
Outlook. I can't forward them to my Yahoo e-mail account because they'll
just transfer to Outlook, if it's open. Also, I looked and the only import
option that I could find in Yahoo Mail was to import Contacts.

Any suggestions? I've always had good luck finding answers, but didn't see
anything written when I searched 'transfer e-mail to Yahoo'.

First, set outlook to leave on server. Then forward them back to yahoo -
that is the only way, unfortunately.

I'm sorry for sounding confused, but I am using Outlook 2007 at home, so am I
to assume that the reference to a server doesn't apply to me? I don't think
the e-mails are stored on a remote server somewhere, but I could be wrong. I
looked at your posted link, but now I'm really confused

One last thing - I have followed all instructions on how to set up the
profile (yahoo's help area) but I still can't send messages. I guess I'm
wondering how I send messages from an e-mail account (i.e. (e-mail address removed)) to
the same (e-mail address removed). I'm not computer illiterate, but this has me stumped

postings, but finally came across it.

Thank you so much for the help. I was looking at my Outlook at work and
confusing the "server" as an Outlook server, not the Yahoo server...hence my
confusion. I also followed instructions (found clearer instructions when I
did another search) on how to correct the send issue.
