Outlook XP very slow to startup?

Hi all,

Anyone got an explanation for this one. I have installed
outlook xp and done the SP update although i had this prob
before that. When i start it up it takes 45 seconds before
the splash screen disappears and then it takes another 5
seconds before i can click on an inbox. If i try to
dowload my mail from my hotmail accounts in outlook xp it
takes forever and it's not my internet connectio. i have
removed all the hotmail accounts tot check it and even my
ISP mail account and it's still the same. To i need a
mainframe to startup this proggy or is this a known bug?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try disabling the integration with Instant Messenger in Tools | Options |
Other and see if that speeds things up.
