Outlook XP to 2003 upgrade failure

I'm having a problem following an upgrade to Outlook 2003.
My offline folders no longer synchronise through on my send/receive
group.

There appears to be compatibility problem between send/receive groups
created in Outlook XP and Outlook 2003. I don't want to use cache mode
until our Exchange servers are upgraded from Exc 2000.

If I delete the send/receive group file or create a new send/receive
group it works.

Does anyone know a fix for this problem?
