Outlook Will Not Stay Open

I open Outlook and with in about 5 seconds it says that it have encountered a
problem and needs to close, and you can choose to send an error message or
not. When I looked at the error report the file that was it error was:
C:\DOCUME~1\melissa\LOCALS~1\Temp\49005093.cvr

How can I fix this problem?

Didn't mean to "multipost", I read the other posts and tried the advice that
was given for them and nothing worked--any other solutions?
