outlook tries to open virus scan which is not installed

When I open Outlook it tries to open McAfee, which is not installed on my
system. How can I prevent this from happening?

If McAfee was previously installed, the program was not completely removed
during the uninstall process. There are still some entries in the registry.
 
Look under Outlook's Tools->Options->Other->Advanced. Under COM add-ins or
Add-in Manager, you should find a file that references McAfee. Uncheck it
and you should be fine.

If that does not work, close OUtlook, find and rename extend.dat to .old
and reopen Outlook.

account will be deleted without reading.

There was nothing in it!

If that does not work, close OUtlook, find and rename extend.dat to .old

I searched whole MyComputer and I couldn't find that file.

I just keep having this screen on startup:

It's in the hidden folder %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook . You must enable
viewing hidden files and folders to see it.
