Outlook stopped working; SQL icon is now appearing in toolbar??

My computer has always run fairly good (has slowed alot). A few days ago my
Outlook 2003 stopped sending and receiving. At the same time I noticed the
icon for MSSQL SERVER in my toolbar and it had NEVER been there previously.
I have tried all of the different options; I have tried uninstalling office
2003 and reinstalling but still doesn't work. Any suggestions?
 
do you have BCM installed? That is could be why the icon is present.

Are you getting any errors in the send/receive dialog?
