Outlook Status bar

In Outlook 2000 the status bar showed the total number of
messages in the ibox as well as the number of unread
messages in the inbox. Outlook 2003 only shows the total
number of messages in the inbox on the status bar. Is
there anyway to get the status bar to show the number of
unread messages as well?
