Outlook 2003 - Unread Items on Status Bar

It appears that after upgrading From Outlook 2000 to
Outlook 2003, Outlook no longer displays the total
and "unread" items in the status bar. Rather, it only
shows the total number of items in the current folder.

Will you please confirm whether or not this can be turned
back on?

To the best of my knowledge, Outlook 2003 won't display that information on
the status bar.
