I organize my inbox by name so when I receive multiple responses on the same
subject I can check the date and time to find the most recent response. (The
rest I delete.) At times I have 5-10 emails on the same subject and without
doing this I would be wasting valuable time reading the same emails on the
same subject. This helps somewhat however when I receive a response from
more than one person I have to go through each name to find the most recent
e-mail. There should be someway for Outlook to delete all responses except
for the most current one thus reducing the number of e-mails in my inbox.

The Inbox is supposed to be for temp storage. You should create sub folders
or new folders to organize & store your mail.

Not sure what you mean by organizing your inbox "by name," but why not just
look at the date and time in the "received" column and delete the older
e-mails for each subject before reading them?
