I recently got a new laptop. My old one is still functioning, so I used my 4
different account settings as guide for setting up Oulook on my new computer.
All passed the "test" microsoft gave it and are supposedly working. I also
imported my personal folders file so now they look the same. however, when I
recieve messages, i only receive them on the outlook on my old CPU. while
send/send recieve seems to work on the new computer, none of the new messages
arrive. Any help would be greatly appreciated! My old laptop could die at any
time.

Note that a CPU is not the same as a computer.

If you collect mail at both computers with a POP3 account you'll need to
configure your accounts to leave a copy on the server. You can do this in
your account settings.

Thanks for your response. I did this and was able to recieve test email
messages I sent myself, but am still not recieving mail on the new computer
from others. any other tips?

Look at your webbased mailclient provided by your ISP. Here you'll see
exactly what messages are still left on the server.

Thank you again. A new outside message I recieved this morning appeared on
my old laptop, but not my new one, and also did not appear on the webbased
mail client for that mailbox. I really need to be able to receive the
messages in outlook. Would it work if I uninstalled outlook from my old
computer? I'm fearful of doing that until I know i iwill receive all my mail
