Hi Maggie,

To answer your questions:

1) You can specify where your Outlook PST will be located

2) I just make a copy of my PST. Much easier than backing up OLEXP.

3) 234704 OL2000: How to View Hotmail Messages in Outlook 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=234704

FYI - You can only have one (1) account in OL2000. OL2002 and OL2003
provide for multiple accounts.

4) Microsoft Outlook 2000 uses Microsoft Outlook Express for a newsreader.

195879 OL2000: Installing and Using the Outlook Newsreader

5) You cannot share you PST.

We are thinking of using Outlook (2000) rather than OE because we would like
to filter on message headers, but have some questions:-

Can I decide where the email cabinet is to be located in Outlook as in OE so
that I can get at it?

I use E-backup to BU my OE system on a schedule - is there a similar program
for Outlook?

Can I collect my Hotmail in Outlook and how do I configure it?

Can I use Newsgroups in Outlook and how do I do it?

Can I share my email system by having the cabinet on my server?

Thanks for any help in advance

Sorry if I have offended anyone but I don't understand what is going on
here. I don't use newsgroups very often but I do not understand what I have
done wrong.

I did post a few days ago but the message never appeared on my list and I
never received a reply that I could see. There are no other messages listed
from me in the newsgroup so where is the message and your reply?

What is wrong with my system clock it shows the correct time here?

All I'm trying to do is my job and I need some help please.

Thanks anyway
