Outlook Sends .dat files

When i send an attachment with an e-mail, my colleauges recieve them as .dat
files.
If i send them a pdf, or excel or word document they are all recived as .dat.

Try reposting in the appropriate newsgroup (Outlook?,
Outlook Express?) and remember to state the exact

Specify the type of attachement you are trying to send.
