Outlook Rules wont go away

Microsoft Outlook 2002 SP-2

I cannot delete any existing rules

I highlight the rule, then click Delete.
I get the message, delete rule "name" and click Yes.
The rule disappears.
If I then click Cancel to exit the rule is still there
If I click OK the message "Rule descripton has not been set To set a value
click underlined words at bottom of list " appears and I cannot exit by
clicking OK.
I presume this applies to the next rule down.
At this stage, the rule I deleted is gone.

The only way I can exit without this message is to click the close box (x)

I have read the guidance help - it tells me to do what I am doing.
Help please.

Why click "Cancel" to exit?

That implies that you want to cancel what you have been doing.

Isn't there an "OK" button? There is in O2003.
