Outlook Rules error.

We have a spam service that blocks out spam and we set up an Outlook rule to
move any email with "***SPAM***" in the subject or body to move it to the
Junk Email folder. One user had a rule stop working that had it set to move
to the specified folder. I changed the rule back to move Junk Email folder
but what would cause this rule to stop working? Is this common in Outlook
rules?

Rule can sometime get corrupt. There could have been many reasons including
some corruption in the user's PST file.

The simplest fix is normal to delete and recreate the rule as you have done.
