We use Microsoft Exchange Server in my office. I recently changed computers.
Now I log in to Windows XP, and when I open Outlook it asks for my login
again (User Name: Password: Domain Name). I repeat the same name and
password and it lets me in. Our IP guy doesn't know why this is happening.
Can anyone help?

If you look at your email account settings, what do you have set for authentication? (Control Panel->Mail Icon->Accounts->View or Change->highlight Exchange->More settings.)

Milly, thanks for your response!

Following your directions, under the "Advanced" tab I see "Login Network
Security." It's currently set to "None." My other options are "Password
Authentication" and "Distributed Password Authentication." Is this what you
mean? Should I choose one of these? Which one?

For the benefit of anyone researching this topic, I chose "Password
Authentication" and things now work fine.
