A work mate recently was having a problem. Using outlook
2003, she was replying to a message. The system went to
access the floppy. With no disk in the drive, it
continued to seek the disk. Outlook was hung up. I put a
floopy in the drive, it was reconized, and the reply to
message was avaiable.

I tried this again on a different email - same problem.
Others who have similar systems are not experiencing this
issue.

Any guideance??

Try disabling e-mail scanning by whatever anti-virus software she is
using.
