Outlook 2000 Reply Message Options

I have numerous email addresses. Recently a new Gmail address was set up in
my Outlook 2000 and I set it as my default. All works fine in new message
creation however when I receive a message and reply in any manner, the email
address that is aligned with my reply message is my previous default address.
I go to Message Options to change that each time I send a reply but can not
find where I change my message options to as they apply to Reply Messages. I
have tried setting up a reply message address in my Accounts area but that
has not worked.

If there is more than one email account set up in Outlook, then Outlook by
default replies to messages using the account to which they are sent. There
is no way to automatically change this AFAIK.
Presumably the messages that you are replying to have been received by
Outlook from the non-default email account.
Have you notified all your contacts of the change of address?
