outlook replicating thousands of emails

I built a new PC, XP PRo OS, origionally installed office
pro xp, then upgraded to 2003 pro. after the upgrade to
2003 pro my emails started replicating to thousands every
day. When the new pc was purchased the moron who built it
(not me) did not set up any user on the OS, could this be
the issue and how do i fix it? I am really a mess here.
