outlook reminder times from XP to 2003 show up different when

I use both Office XP and Office 2003, particularly outlook. I have people
using Xp on their systems while I use 2003 office. Someone sends me an
appointment, on their side with a 2 day reminder, on my side once accepted,
shows up as 15 minutes. Same to be said for me sending appointments to XP
users, 2 days on my side, shows up as 15 minutes on theirs.

Is there a way to correct this so the time of the reminder shows the same on
both ends?

outlook uses the recipients reminder time when it is received - so the only
way to have both the same is if both sides use the same default.

Thank you so much for responding. All machines and users have the same
reminder notification, yet it still comes across that way. To furhter this
along, I also heard back from someone using the same version Office XP, and
their reminder came in as 15 minutes vs. 2 days. Any other suggestions would
be helpful.

Thanks
Brian
