I have 2 users now that continually have problems with their outlook. The
problem has the same characteristics on both machines. When they hit the
send button the button stays depressed and it just sits there and never ends
up sending the email.

A problem that also occurs when the users are unable to send their email,
the tab key doesn't work in the manor it's supposed too, it doesn't tab
between the To, CC, and subject field the way it's supposed too, it tabs over
like a normal tab in a document.

Does anyone know what causes these types of problems and how I can fix it?
Both users are on Outlook 2003 SP3 and it's a MS Exchange environment.

Is it 100% reproducible? If yes, first things first, start outlook with the
/safe switch to see if it happens then.

If it isn't reproducible with ease, you could try Detect and Repair. I'd
also still run in safe mode and see if it happens.

It sounds a lot like a plug in causing a problem, to be honest.

The problem is not reproducable so far. I've tried. Do you know what
features wouldn't be available if I start it in safe mode?

I've yet to actually find functionality missing, but then, I'm not running
any add-ins.

I am going to have to look at their setups. I see in my outlook at home, I
go into add-in manager and saw 3 things exchange scan, exchange extention
property pages, and fax server extentions. They're all checked and the
install button is black.

I don't believe they're installed. Of course the settings of these users on
our workstations are probably different, and I don't know for sure what their
IP addresses are, so can't check on their settings right now. Monday morning
I will look to see what they've got installed. Will
