We have a group of contacts and would like to know if there's an easy way to
easily change the Name and Display Name for each contact all at the same
time. The way the contacts are currently displayed when you go to write a
new email address is screwy. It gives you the columns Name and Display Name
in the window that comes up. However, when you go to edit that contact,
those headings do not show up anywhere on the form. I am not sure if there
is an easy way to fix this problem but if someone could get back to me I'd
really appreciate it. Thanks!

What is the title of the "window that comes up"? What version of Outlook?
The Display As field is usually right below the E-mail address field in the
Contact record.

We are using Outlook 2007. The title of the window that comes up is Select
Names: Contacts. This is what comes up when you have a new mail message and
click the "To..." button. As I said though, I have a whole group of contacts
I need to change this information for, but when you export the contact list
to a file, there is no column for display name, display as, etc. I need an
easy way to change all of these contacts at once that won't take me all day.
Is there a way to do this? The information is all in there, it's just in the
wrong spots. Sorry, I know I probably am not being helpful. I just don't
know a better way to explain what I'm trying to do.

That's the Address Book interface, but it should not be used to modify your
contacts.

I believe there are third-party tools that can do what you want. Start
