How would I purge outlook of all email accounts, contacts, dates, priorities
etc? I would like to be able to start over from scratch.

close outlook, go to control panel, mail and delete your profile.

Delete the files in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook. (You can easily access it by pasting
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook in the Address bar of your
browser or Windows Explorer. ) and C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. (paste %USERPROFILE%\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
in the Address bar).

Note that by default, Windows hides some of your user profile folders from
you. Change the settings in Windows Explorer's Tools, Folder Options, View
tab to show hidden files and folders and remove the check from hide system
files.

if you use an older version of windows, see
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm for file locations.
