In OL2002SP3: I have AutoArchive set to archive after x days, and to move
items older tha y days into an Outlook.pst file. The Outlook.pst file has an
Office icon (the 4-colored jigsaw puzzle). When I try to open it, it asks
what program to open it with. Nothing I have tried works.

In Outlook use File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

Thanks, Roady.

I seem not to have a program of that name.

When I select Outlook, I get the message: "The command line argument is not
valid. Verify the swtch you are using."

Explorer searches of my hard drive turn up neither a file with that title
nor a file with those words in the content.

Please advise.

You said Outlook 2002SP3 in your original post so I assume you've got that
installed? What did you search for in Explorer?

You misunderstand. In Outlook, click File>Open>Outlook Data File. Do not
try to open the PST from Windows Explorer.

Okay. That's a thought... But when I do that, it just takes me to Outlook
Today.

What d'ya think?
