When trying to copy outlook.pst for backup I get an error: (translated from
norwegian)
"Can't copy outlook. The prosess have no access to file because another
prosess has locked a part of the file" (something like that...).

Make sure Outlook is closed and that the outlook.exe process isn't running
anymore.

Are you able to copy it directly after you start Windows or even when
Windows is started in safe mode?

After your computer completes the POST, press F8 before you see the Windows
logo. You should get a menu where you can specify the starting mode of
Windows.

I discovered that Yahoo Desktop Search locks Outlook files. To disable it,
right click, exit, then backup outlook files. Reactivate desktop search by
double clicking its icon or shortcut.
