Outlook problem after OS reinstall

I have just completed an XP pro reinstall. I then installed
BitDefender IS - my old install had AVG9.

I then copy/pasted my saved outlook and archive .pst files into my new
install at -
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data
\Microsoft\Outlook

Now when I start up Outlook it starts with an error because it cannot
find avgxch32.dll! I just click to ignore and I Outlook runs OK

Can anyone advise me how to resolve this issue and stop Outlook
looking for this AVG file?

You must have done a repair install of win, otherwise nothing would be left
of the old.
Did you actually uninstal AVG?
And if in Outlook, whatever version, you disable the AVG add-in?

Thanks - I didn't know that add ins even existed!

A quick look on google to see how to look at the add ins and delete
the AVG reference - job done!

FYI - It was a clean installation on an other hard disk, I can only
assume that moving the .pst files moved the AVG reference with them!

Again, many thanks!

Add-ins aren't in the PST, as far as I know. They're in the registry or in
extend.dat.
