Hi,

I am running a medica center PC with outlook 2003 installed. The Outlook
connects to mailboxes on a 2003 domain which I am running - when I open the
outlook in the MC it keeps asking for a password - is there anyway to bypass
this so I it dosen't prompt. p.s. there is no save password box!

Regards
Joe.

Like Home Edition, Windows Media Center pc's cannot join a domain.
However, they can use domain resources. Here is a link showing how:

Hi Malke - thanks for the reply.

I knew about the domain issue - I was just wondering if anyone knew any
tweaks that would save me having to type in the password all the time..

Thanks

Joe.

No, not that I know of and you really wouldn't want to be able to do
that from a security standpoint. You always want to authenticate
non-domain users. The only solution that I know of (and that doesn't
mean one doesn't exist!) is to upgrade to XP Pro.
