Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Internet Options. On the Programs
tab, choose Outlook Express in the E-mail box and click OK.

I had already done that. When I boot my system, MS Outlook give me this
message: "Either there is no default mail Client or the current mail client
cannot fulfill the message request. Please run MS Outlook and set it as the
default mail client." (which I don't want as my default).

Thanks

Did you create an email account in Outlook? Go to Control Panel > Mail and
delete the profile. Create a new profile but do not add an email account.

I did have a profile for Outlook, but had never established an email
account. I did delete the Outlook profile and then added a new one for
Outlook and did not add an email account. However, when I rebooted, the same
message appeared. Should I establish one for Outlook Express and delete the
Outlook profile?

Thanks

Yes, try creating an Outlook Express identity, and disable or delete the
Outlook one, at least temporarily.

And, if you're a home user, I personally don't think you need that piece of
bloat called Outlook. You'll do just fine with OE and your Web browser.

However, if my suggestions are of no help, try asking in
