Outlook not sending mail

I have a computer that is running XP Pro & Office
2003.When I try to send an email from this machine I will
hit send and it appears to be sent. In the sent folder it
shows that the email was sent but it never arrives at
it's destination. I have tried sending emails to other
computers on my network and this works fine. I have no
trouble receiving mail but I cannot send. Please help.
