outlook not responding

Hi I am really stuck - I can open outlook 2000 but my cursor becomes an hour
glass the second I try to touch it. I can see the mails but can't access
them. There are a few pretty heavy ones coming from 4 different e-mail
addresses-please cansomeone help. I been up all night trying to get the
program to respond

With Outlook closed, try deleting the file outcmd.dat in the (hidden) folder
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook
