Outlook & Norton Antivirus

I am trying to use Outlook 2000 as opposed to OE and when I try to reply to
an email I get the error message.
"Norton Antivirus was unable to send your email message because the
connection to your email server was interrupted"
Can anyone help me with this?

Bill,
Open Norton AV (double click the icon in the system tray next to the clock),
on the menu, select Options. In the Internet box, select Email. Remove the
check mark for "Scan outgoing Email". Do NOT remove the check mark for
incoming! Click OK, close Norton and try to send an e-mail.
