Sending and receiving errors

I am using Outlook 2002 for my email client. I am also
running Norton Antivirus 2002 and Norton AntiSpam. When I
first turn on the computer Outlook will send and receive
without a problem. However after the first send/receive I
begin to get error messages that Outlook is unable to
connect to the incoming mail server. If I re-boot the
computer Outlook will again send and receive once, but
then generates the same error message.

Does anyone have an idea about what could be going on?

Try turning off Norton anti-virus and anti-spam (separately) and see if
things work with one of them off. If so, contact Symantec to see if there's
an update to fix the problem.
