This might be old news but I am new here so bear with me.

I have just upgraded to Office 2003 and all went well. I added NEWS to me GO
menu dropdown in Outlook as described in HELP, and all went well. It carried
over my old settings and worked as it should.

However when I closed the program and later reopened it, NEWS was gone and
wasn't even available to move back from the customize dialog box.

Any suggestions?

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.
