Go news missing

Adam Benson

Hi,

I'm running Office 2007 on Win 7 x64.
I wanted to set up the newsgroup reader and went to customize the options -
as described in help. When I tried to add "Go news" it was missing. How do I
make it appear?

Thanks,

Adam.

On Windows 7 you can't.

Aarrggh. Thanks Diane and Gordon,

Any recommendations for getting to the newsgroups? Is there another MS
client I could use? Or is it just a case of trawl around for a newsgroup
reader that works with Win 7?

TVMIA,

Adam.

Is there a reason you don't like Live mail client?

If you prefer web, you can use the Office community interface -
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx (for all MS
groups use
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook)
or one of the many sites that republish the newsgroups, including
forums.slipstick.com (outlook & exchange only).

I (ahem) didn't know LiveMail served as a newsgroup client.

Many thanks, both.
