Outlook messages

My wife's Outlook sends a blank email to the sender whenever she clicks on
the message to read it. I have not been able to find a setting to change
that will stop the sending of blank messages.
 
Go to your Inbox.
Click Tools-Options
Select Preferences
Click E-mail Options
Click Tracking Option
Make sure that Always Send a Response is not selected.
