outlook lost folder FINAL CALL FOR HELP !!!

bassiouny

Ok , I will give it another shot here with you guys , before I delete
all pst files and beg everyone I received and email from in the last 3
months to send me another copy ….
• My win XP home crashed
• I recovered my outlook 2003 http pst files and personal (pop3) pst
files from crashed HDD from my profile folder
• I had a bad setup for folders like this : there is the primary "my
personal folders" with default outlook folders ( inbox , sent items ,
etc) and I made another folder same name "my personal folders" placed
in the route (right on the folders list) with my custom named
subfolders inside it
• I also placed my http (hotmail) accounts in that folder
• When I imported or added through file management or copied all files
to the new outlook 2003 installation ( tried them all ) I only get 1
(the main) "my personal folders " the other one and its subfolders
completely disappeared !!!!
• I know its there somewhere because when I ran scanpst.exe it
reported 45 folders where there is only 37 in the current folder list
• I searched all hidden or visible *.pst or *.ost files in the older
HDD

Any ideas of how to get my other subfolders back ? they contain all my
work files
I have a scanpst log file I can even email the original outlook.pst if
someone can help !!!

PLEASE help

Have a look at the following

Our service is provided as a no recovery, no charge service. You only pay if
the items that you require are recovered.

The cost of the recovery service is $99 and the process works like this:

1) You send us a copy of your PST file either by electronic transfer or
send via CD or mount to your FTP server and we will retrieve
2) We review and recover what is possible from the PST file
3) We provide you with a report on the Outlook items available after the
recover process, showing the item subject, date received, size, originator
and folder
4) If the items required are available in this report, you make a payment
$99 to our Paypal account and we return the recovered PST file to you.
5) If the recovered items listed in the report do not provide you with what
you require then no payment and we throw away the PST
a.. The PST must not be compressed by Outlook as this removes all deleted
and corrupted mail items when the new, compressed file is created.
b.. We need a copy of the original PST file to work upon. Do not remove
items to make the file smaller.

If you wish for us to review, go to our website and send your PST for
investigation.

Regards
Graeme

thank you diane
that didn't work either … even tried to import it from Netscape or
Eudora
I believe it might be the 2 "personal folders" with the same name in
the root of the folder list that is ruining the structure of pst file
Any other suggestions ?
