outlook large size of pst file

after delete the message from the pst folder still contain large size. when i
right click the pst file check the properties still contain large size. how
to reduce the size?

What version of Outlook was the PST created in? Only older versions (2002
and older) have the smaller size restriction.

You can create another PST and drag and drop email into it.

You have to compact it from inside Outlook. Note that compaction only
takes place if a large number of items have been deleted.

i am using outlook 2007. meaning the pst file is cannot reduce size. just
drap and drop to onther pst and delete existing pst?

RIght-click the root of your folders and choose Peoperties.

That's "Properties", of course.
