Outlook is recognising old addresses even after deletion. Why?

I don't seem to b e able to delete old addresses from my contact list & O/L
is defaulting to original addresses instead of correct addresses. also
haveing a problem with send large e-mails which it is doing multiple times.
Any ideas anyone?
 
Hi,

The functionality you are referring to is the AutoComplete feature. In Microsoft Outlook when you type a recipient's name in the To box of a message,the AutoComplete feature's list of
possible name resolutions contains names of contacts that you deleted. Please refer to the following Knowledge Base article to learn more about this feature and how to remove
