Outlook is not removing another user's mailbox

While one of our people was out of the office I setup access to that user's
mailbox so that I could manage certain issues. I had to get some user
addresses from their contact list. I ran some inbox rules to delete
hundreds of spam messages that normally accumulate.

When the user returned I went into Exchange Properties and removed that
mailbox from the list of mailboxes I should be showing in my profile. The
trouble is that it is still showing and appears to be accessible. I event
reset the Exchange User Properties to uncheck full mailbox rights etc. When
I remove other mailboxes they disappear, but not this one. Why? What do I
check? It does not make sense to me.

Had this one time to. It is saved in the registry somewhere but recreating
your mailprofile might be faster in some cases (and saver)

the reg location is
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\ProfileName]
the subfolders also contain the data for your extra mailbox connection.
Locate it and delete it (after you exported the ofcourse for back-up in case
something goes wrong)

Good Luck!
