Outlook icon will not open

Hello.

I have just configured a new email address for place I am working. I deleted
the previous worker from the host website.

However, now OUTLOOK will not open at all and the host web people state this
is a windows problem. A windows update shows everything is updated.
Furthermore, I can open and receive emaiil logged as another user on the same
computer. However, I cannot get the icon on the desktop to open.

I have tried reconfiguring under properties and the icon still will not open.

It was opening earler today, but no longer works.


I ran a search for 'inbox dbx' on google, but this brought up problems with
Outlook Express, not Outlook.

I tried start > run. outlook/safe and this pulled up nothing.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Inbox.DBX is an Outlook Express file hence the reference to OE.

What kind of mail account did you add to Outlook. You make references to
host web, etc. Also, you said Outlook did open at one point then didn't. Any
idea if something changed between point A & point B?
