Outlook + Hotmail = Horrible

I'm not sure where the problem lies but I have Outlook 2007 and a
Hotmail account that I use the http connection to bring in my emails.
I have several other accounts. Very frequently I have Outlook popping
up a dialog box prompting me for my user name and password, even
though it is entered correctly. I'll put in the password again and it
will ping me back almost immediately again. I can't cancel and move to
the next account and continuously hitting enter or cancel will pop up
for about 10 more times until Outlook decides it has had enough and
stops and moves on.

This doesn't always happen each time I check mail but I brace myself
for the surprise at least once a day or every two days, if not more.

Another problem is that IMAP doesn't download all the headers and
bodies even though I've set it globally in the send/receive area where
it gives you the options. Several accounts seem to still download just
headers. Is there an account by account setting?

Thanks for your help and insight into all this.

1. Are you using HTTP protocol or the Outlook connector? Hotmail/MSN is
ending HTTP support and you need to use the connector.
2. Did you set full messages for each account in Send/Receive settings,
Edit, select each account and enable.

You are getting that since Hotmail Servers are Up and down since yesterday. Many are in the same situation when trying to connect to Hotmail through OL and also on OE. Just wait it out since it is the weekend and the Hotmail servers should be fixed shortly

OK, this may explain things.

1. HTTP protocol in the outlook setup. What exactly is the
"connector?" I'm wondering how one might set that up in Outlook and
look forward to ending the horrible popup issues that crop up
regularly.

2. I'll double check this. I thought they were all set properly,
unless i was confused by the "global/all" setting.
